Sony Vaio Pink Laptop.

If you’re looking for a pink laptop you’ve probably noticed that most of them out there tend to be netbooks, small laptops that are mainly for browsing the web, chatting and doing email.  Or else they’re notebooks, full pink laptops on the smaller side.  They’re running Windows 7 on a Dual Core machine, but the screens tend to be small, usually 13.5 inches or so.  There are several different in the Vaio series but there are some full featured full sized models as well as some smaller sizes.

Let’s start with the smaller Sony VAIO VPC-CW21FX/P 14 Inch, it’s a 2.13 MHz Core i3 processor with 4 GB of internal memory, and a large 500 GB hard drive, actually pretty large for a laptop this small.  It’s also running Windows 7 home premium (64 bit), 3 USB ports, express card slot, and a card reader.

For the next size up there’s the VAIO VGN-NW320F/P 15.5-Inch Laptop, similar in functionality but actually not quite as powerful in some respects, it does run a Core Duo 2.2 GHz processor, which is a little bit faster, though the speed is probably negligible in the real world. It does come with 4 GB of memory but only a 32o GB hard drive.  It also comes with Windows 7 Home Premium just like the smaller version.  It’s actually a little bit more expensive, about $50, even though it’s not quite as big in the hard drive department, it’s still a little faster and with a larger screen.

Sony does have different sizes of these pink Vaios the main difference seems to be in screen size and hard drive size.  The processors are approximately the same speed, like was mentioned above in the real world the difference between a 2.16 GHz, and a 2.2 GHz processor is probably too small to notice.  The difference in price has mostly to do with the size of the screen, most of them have similar peripherals, 3 USB drives, Firewire, 5 in 1 card reader, and express card slot.  They also all have wireless connectivity (a must for any laptop), bluetooth, and the screens have Sony’s XBrite technology.  They also have CD/DVD drives (some models have Blue Ray) except for the 10 inch pink netbook.  The netbook does have an integrated webcam and microphone as do the larger models.

Some of the newer, larger models have and HDMI port so you can play your Blue Ray discs on your TV, as if your laptop was a Blue Ray player.  Of course that’s assuming your TV is high def, and has a HDMI port.

If you’re looking for a pink laptops then take a look at the Vaio line by Sony.  They don’t have a 17 inch model but if you’re looking for a 10 inch pink netbook to a full pink 15 inch computer then you’ll find what you’re looking for.
